Personal data collected may include your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, tax number and bank account details. In the context of translation projects, other, possibly special, personal data of you and your clients/customers/patients.

The data in question will be retained throughout the business relationship only, or for the length of time stipulated to comply with legal and tax obligations

Who else will see your personal data

If we send a text for translation, revision or editing to a freelance colleague, that text will be anonymised, so that your personal data will not appear, or the colleague will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement prior to receipt of your text, if necessary. They will be advised of their legal obligations in relation to confidentiality and professional secrecy.

Other parties may have access to your personal data for administrative purposes, including our website and email hosting services. All these parties are GDPR-compliant

We take precautionary measures to safeguard your personal data, such as software updates, password protection, anti-virus software, firewalls and physical access restriction to devices

You are entitled to access, modify or erase your personal data that we hold. Please send your request directly to us using any of the contact methods provided above, and we will act upon this as soon as possible
